Hole 10: Railroad

Jamestown owes its existence to the Northern Pacific Railroad. Founded in 1872 as a railroad town, the tracks brought settlers, businesses, and opportunity to the prairie. Even today, trains continue to shape the community and connect North Dakota to the rest of the country.
